Description
I generally use my still or video camera to capture moments that have artistic potential. Using these photos as a basic start to my paintings allows me the base point and freedom to completely transform it into a new and different artistic expression. I paint by hand in layers to add various textural qualities to the painting. I set my own color palettes, and use various electronic brushes to create that dramatic final statement that point and shoot reference photographs rarely have. I have spent the last three years developing a unique painterly style that I believe is akin to the more traditional mediums -----------------------------------------------
