Below is a poem I wrote to go along with this image:

Distant waves from foggy shores imbued my restless feet.
From whence they came I need to know the bounding main to meet.
The splendor of the ocean roll,
Her emblazoned rite of passage
descended on my youthful soul
to conquer was the message.
To hear if far-off seabirds cry.
Their spirit under foreign skies,
the wondrous glory of lands unknown, to vow the sea my love, my home.....
