Description
I generally use my still or video camera to capture moments that have artistic potential. Using these photos as a basic start to my paintings allows me the base point and freedom to completely transform it into a new and completely different artistic expression. I paint by hand in layers to add various textural qualities to the painting. I set my own color palettes, and use various electronic brushes to create that dramatic final statement that point and shoot reference photographs rarely have. I have spent the last three years developing a unique painterly style that I believe is akin to the more traditional mediums we all have grown to know and love.
I will do custom work...please email me to discuss.

I've been there! Just seeing this makes me think of rain and the smell of peat. :-) Congratulations on your sale.

This is one beautiful country isn't it....The smell of peat is an aroma you'll never forget...I rather like it...and this artwork is either the little cottage or the cottage next to it where the scent of peat was comming from if I remember correctly....thanks so much for reminding me of the pleasurable trip to Bunratty :))...thanks !!!
