Artist's Description

I generally use my still or video camera to capture moments that have artistic potential. Using these photos as a basic start to my paintings allows me the base point and freedom to completely transform it into a new and different artistic expression. I paint by hand in layers to add various textural qualities to the painting. I set my own color palettes, and use various electronic brushes to create that dramatic final statement that point and shoot reference photographs rarely have. I have spent the last three years developing a unique painterly style that I believe is akin to the more traditional mediums we all have grown to know and love_________________________________________________________________________________
Please note: A portion of my proceeds will be donated to The Joy and Hope Of Haiti, an organization that has been instrumental in providing a better life for Haitian children for well over a decade. I have been back to Haiti several times over the last few years...
